学名：Solmaris rhodoloma
漢字：日輪水母
傘径：～10mm
傘は円盤状で無数の触手が放射状に伸びる。体は透明に見えるが、光のあたる向きによって一部虹彩を帯びる。
外洋性だが、強風や潮の流れによって時にきわめて多数の個体が接岸する。長期飼育は難しく、現在挑戦中。
The umbrella is disc-shaped, with countless tentacles extending radially from it. Its body appears transparent, but depending on the angle of the light, parts of it take on an iridescent sheen.
Although it is a pelagic species, strong winds and ocean currents sometimes cause large numbers of individuals to wash ashore. Long-term captivity is difficult, and we are currently working on it.
