ガンガゼの棘に巻き付くように付着して生活する。

水槽内ではガンガゼがいなくても飼育できた。

日本ではこれまで採集記録がなかったが、四国南部沿岸や鹿児島県より発見されている。

 

It attaches itself to the spines of the sea urchin (Diadema setosum), living wrapped around them.
It could be kept in an aquarium even without the sea urchin (Diadema setosum) present. Although there were no previous collection records in Japan, it has been discovered along the southern coast of Shikoku and in Kagoshima Prefecture.
