傘高３０ｍｍほどのクラゲ。

北陸周辺の日本海で春～初夏に見られることがある。沖合に多く、沿岸では少ない。

傘の縁と内部、触手が朱色に染まる美しいクラゲである。

 

This species with a bell diameter of about 30 mm.
It can sometimes be seen in the Sea of Japan around the Hokuriku region from spring to early summer.

It is more common offshore and less so near the coast.
It is a beautiful jellyfish with its bell margin, interior, and tentacles tinged with vermilion.
Our aquarium has successfully bred it and is raising and displaying juvenile jellyfish.
