傘径：～13mm

球状の刺胞塊が多数ついた触手が4本ある。

早春に関東、夏に北海道で見られる。庄内浜でも稀に採集される。

まるでブドウの皮をむいたような傘をしている。

他園館で繁殖も報告されているが、維持は難しい。

 

This species has four tentacles bearing numerous spherical nematocyst clusters.
It is observed in the Kanto region in early spring and in Hokkaido during summer.

It is occasionally collected at Shonai Beach in front of Kamo Aquarium.
Its bell resembles peeled grapes.
Reproduction has been reported at other aquariums, but maintaining it is difficult.
