ウィーンのシェーンブルン動物園からポリプをいただき、繁殖させた。

体内に褐虫藻を持ち、強い光がないと育成が成功しにくい。

ポリプの維持は比較的簡単だが、クラゲの飼育は難しい。

 

We received polyps of this species from the Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna and successfully bred them.
They harbor symbiodinium and are difficult to raise successfully without strong lighting.
Keeping the polyps is relatively easy, but keeping the jellyfish is difficult.
