メキシコ、ソノラ州のカリフォルニア湾で観察されている。

海外からポリプを譲り受け、エフィラを遊離させて育成した。

当館では主にミズクラゲを与えている。

ポリプによってクラゲの触手の色が異なる個体がいるが、理由はわからない。

 

This species has been observed in the Gulf of California, Sonora, Mexico.
We received polyps from overseas and cultivated them by releasing ephyra.
In my aquarium, I primarily feed them Aurelia coerulea.
Some individuals exhibit different colors in their tentacles depending on the polyp, but the reason for this is unknown.
