この水槽のクラゲは全てポリプから繁殖させた個体で、成長してもほとんどが薄い水色をしている。

野生個体はカラーバリエーション豊富だが、その理由は分かっていない。

 

All the jellyfish in this tank were bred from polyps, and even as they grow, most retain a pale blue color.
Wild specimens exhibit a wide range of color variations, though the reason for this remains unknown.
