傘は黄色く、触手は赤褐色である。

北海道・東北太平洋沿岸に夏季に出現する。

大型のクラゲで、当館ではミズクラゲを餌として与えている。

 

The umbrella of this species is yellow, and the tentacles are reddish-brown.
It appears during summer along the Pacific coast of Hokkaido and Tohoku.
It is a large jellyfish, and at this museum, we feed it moon jellyfish.
