日本では北海道以北で初夏に見ることができ、アラスカやアメリカ北部にも生息する。

飼育が難しく、アルテミア幼生よりも成長したアルテミアの成体やイサザアミなどを好む。

 

In Japan, it can be seen in early summer north of Hokkaido and also inhabits Alaska and northern America.
It is difficult to rear in captivity and prefers mature Artemia adults or brine shrimp over Artemia larvae.
