傘の直径は約25ｃｍまで成長する。

非常に長い口腕や触手で、他の種類のクラゲ・小魚などを捕食する。

当館では繁殖に成功し、ポリプからエフィラを遊離させて育成している。

傘の色は黄色と白の2色がみられるが、なぜ色が異なるのかは不明。

 

The umbrella diameter grows up to approximately 25 cm.
It preys on other jellyfish species and small fish using its extremely long oral arms and tentacles.
My aquarium has successfully bred it, releasing ephyra from polyps for cultivation.
The umbrella color appears in both yellow and white, though the reason for this variation is unknown.
