傘径：～30cm
北海道や東北地方で春～夏に多い。庄内での出現記録は、1979年に遊佐町の地引き網に入網したのみ。
成長すると傘の縁が茶色に染まる。傘はミズクラゲよりも柔らかく、掃除道具が触れただけでも傷がついてしまう。
This species is common in Hokkaido and the Tohoku region from spring to summer.
Its only recorded appearance in Shonai was in 1979, when it was caught in a dragnet in Yusa Town.
As it grows, the bell margin turns brown.The umbrella is softer than that of Aurelia coerulea, and even contact with cleaning tools can damage it.
