傘は半球形で口柄は短くしわ状、名前の由来にもなった積分記号のインテグラル (∫)の形状に似たカール状の生殖腺が特徴的なクラゲ。生活史はまだ解明されていない。

 

This jellyfish features a hemispherical bell with a short, wrinkled oral stalk and distinctive curled reproductive glands resembling the integral symbol (∫), which inspired its name. Life history is unknown.
