名前の通り１ヵ所から３本の触手が生えている。

傘高は１０ｍｍほどで、日本では南日本で稀に採集されることがある。

当館ではポリプから遊離させた稚クラゲを育成して展示している。

 

True to its Japanese name, three tentacles extend from a single point.
Its bell height is about 10 mm, and it is occasionally collected in southern Japan.
