名前の通り、１か所から２本の触手が生えている。

２０１４年に新称として記載された。

傘高は１１ｍｍほどで、オーストラリアや東南アジアのマングローブに生息し、日本には生息しない。

当館ではポリプからクラゲを遊離させて育成している。

 

True to its japanese name, two tentacles grow from a single point.
It was described as a new species in 2014.
Its bell height is about 11 mm. It inhabits mangroves in Australia and Southeast Asia, but is not found in Japan.
In my aquarium, I cultivate it by detaching the jellyfish from its polyps.
