ウリクラゲよりも体が平たく小判のような形状をしており、口の反対側が細くとがっている。自然界では、ウリクラゲと一緒に採集されることもある。

カブトクラゲを餌とし、当館では過去に繁殖にも成功している。

 

The body is flatter than that of Beroe cucumis, with a oval shape, and the opposite side of the mouth is narrow and pointed.

In nature, it is sometimes collected together with Beroe cucumis.
It feeds on Bolinopsis mikado, and my aquarium has successfully bred it in the past.
