2024年の夏に台湾の汽水域で採集した個体から繁殖させた。

傘径３ｍｍほどの小型のクラゲ。

種類の同定が難しく、現在形態観察とＤＮＡ解析を行いながら同定を進めている。

当館が世界初展示の種類である。

本種は台湾の国立海洋生物博物館の協力により採集できた。

 

This specimen was bred from individuals collected in brackish waters off Taiwan in the summer of 2024.
A small jellyfish with a bell diameter of about 3 mm.
Species identification is challenging; we are currently progressing with identification through morphological observation and DNA analysis.
This is the world’s first exhibition of this species.
This species was collected with the cooperation of National museum of marine biology ＆ aquarium in Taiwan.
