傘高３０ｍｍほどにもなるクラゲだが、繁殖個体ではその大きさまでは育成できていない。

地中海などに分布し、日本にはいない。

毒は強い。

 

This species is a jellyfish that can reach a bell height of about 30 mm, but breeding specimens have not been successfully cultivated to that size.
It is distributed in areas such as the Mediterranean Sea and is not found in Japan.
Its venom is potent.
