本種はウィーンのシェーンブルン動物園からポリプをもらい、繁殖させた。

飼育は難しく、口も小さためワムシとアルテミアを給餌している。

褐虫藻が体内に共生しているため、強い光が必要。

 

This species was bred from polyps obtained from Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna.
It is difficult to keep, and due to its small mouth, it is fed rotifers and Artemia.
It requires strong light because it harbors symbiodinium within its body.
