傘は濃い黄色で、触手は赤褐色である。

アメリカ西海岸のカリフォルニア～オレゴン州に生息し時に大量発生し海岸に押し寄せることがある。

当館では他の種類のクラゲを餌として与えている。

 

The umbrella is deep yellow, and the tentacles are reddish-brown.
It inhabits the west coast of the United States from California to Oregon, sometimes blooming in large numbers and washing ashore.
In my aquarium, other species of jellyfish are fed to it.
