傘径30ｃｍほどになる、大型のクラゲ。

色は全体がクリーム色をしているが、傘の縁がすみれ色になる個体もいる。

当館では繁殖に成功しており、ポリプから遊離したエフィラを育てている。

 

This species is a large jellyfish with a bell diameter of about 30 cm.
Its color is generally cream-colored, though some individuals have violet-colored bell margins.
My aquarium has successfully bred them and is raising ephyra that have detached from the polyps.
