傘径25ｃｍほどになり、他のクラゲを食べる。

成長すると傘にも口腕にも茶褐色の模様が出る。

当館ではポリプからエフィラを遊離させて育成している。

 

The bell diameter reaches about 25 cm, and it feeds on other jellyfish.

As it grows, brownish-red patterns appear on both the bell and oral arms.
At our facility, we cultivate it by releasing ephyra from polyps.
