体全体が青白い。

傘径が３０ｃｍ以下のユウレイクラゲ科の仲間。

地中海やヨーロッパ沿岸に分布し、日本には産しない。

英名ではblue jellyfishの他にblue fire jellyfish（青い炎クラゲ）とも呼ばれる。

 

This species has a pale blue body.
It belongs to the family Cyaneidae, with a bell diameter of 30 cm or less.
It is distributed in the Mediterranean and along European coasts, but is not found in Japan.
In addition to “blue jellyfish,” it is also called “blue fire jellyfish.”
