スコットランドで採集されたエボシクラゲの仲間。

日本産のエボシクラゲと比べてサイズがやや大きく成長する。

本種はMerga galleri としていただいたポリプからクラゲを育成しているが、正確に種類が合っているかは不明であり、現在調査中である。

 

A species of Leuckartiara collected in Scotland.

It grows to a slightly larger size compared to the Japanese Leuckartiara octona.

This species was cultivated from polyps received as Merga galleri, but it is unclear whether the species identification is accurate and is currently under investigation.
