4本の触手の付け根（触手瘤）にある眼点で光を感知する。

 

This species is a jellyfish with a rosette-like oral disc, and its bell height is approximately 5 mm.

It detects light through eye spots located at the bases of its four tentacles (tentacle bulbs).
