Culinary Programs with Chef Suda
Work alongside master chef Takeshi Suda to learn a variety of Japanese culinary techniques in a series of special workshops and culinary demonstrations at Okimizuki. Takeshi Suda is the head chef of Okimizuki and also one of the most famous chefs in Yamagata. He regularly teaches his techniques to visiting international chefs and is more than happy to teach visitors about the art of Japanese cuisine.
The Kamo Aquarium
Work alongside Okimizuki is located inside of the Kamo Aquairum, a sleek and modern aquarium renown for its world class displays of jellyfish and other local sea life. A visit to this aquarium is a perfect addition to your visit to this region.
